Apoorva was born and raised in Chennai, India. After finishing her MFA at FAMU (Prague), Apoorva premiered her thesis film, Kanya, at Busan International Film Festival. Kanya was also a semifinalist in the 2021 Student Academy Awards, placing Apoorva in the top 7% of the total number of entrants globally. Apoorva's core interest as a storyteller lies in creating character-driven narratives that explore identity, freedom, and other contemporary social themes.
Anastasia Serdyuk is a filmmaker, animator and multimedia artist focusing on hybrid genres of media art. She graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in 2020 with her film A Long Way, and she is currently pursuing her PhD there. She works with the medium of film, in which the expressive means of documentary film, new and interactive media and experimental animated approaches play an important role. Her films deal with the issues of family memory and identity.
Karel Vladyka is a student at the New Media Studio 2 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, a multimedia artist and host. Since 2018, he has been performing as a drag performer under the alias of Just Karen and, in addition to stage performances, he also focuses on painting, writing (Vogue CS, Kynk mag, zeny.cz), and audiovisual art (for instance the short documentary Zlatý holky). He is a host of Radio Wave.
